Jayden Johnson Commits to Middle Tennessee State University
One of Georgia's most productive running backs has found his future home.
Jayden Johnson, the standout Class of 2027 running back from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, has officially committed to Middle Tennessee State University, giving the Blue Raiders one of the state's most dynamic offensive playmakers.
Johnson's commitment caps off a highly successful recruitment that featured 15 Division I scholarship offers. Throughout the process, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound running back established himself as one of Georgia's premier ball carriers, earning attention for his vision, balance, power, and ability to produce against top competition.
The Stephenson standout has been the centerpiece of the Jaguars' offense over the past three seasons. Through his junior year, Johnson has rushed for 3,696 career yards and 35 rushing touchdowns, while adding 212 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns, proving to be a versatile weapon capable of impacting the game in multiple ways.
Beyond the numbers, Johnson has built a reputation for running with patience, physicality, and explosiveness. Whether breaking tackles between the tackles or creating explosive plays in the open field, he has consistently demonstrated why college programs across the country pursued his commitment.
