Class of 2029 Wing Cadien Hudson Transfers to Wheeler, Ready to Help Wildcats Chase a Three-Peat
MARIETTA, Ga. — One of Georgia’s rising young prospects is taking his talents to one of the nation’s premier high school basketball programs.
Class of 2029 wing Cadien Hudson has officially transferred from Mount Bethel Christian Academy to Wheeler High School, joining the defending GHSA Class 6A state champions as the Wildcats prepare for another championship run.
Standing 6-foot-6, Hudson has quickly established himself as one of the top young prospects in Georgia. His versatility, length, and high basketball IQ have made him a player to watch both on the high school level and on the grassroots circuit with Jet Academy.
The move to Wheeler presents Hudson with an opportunity to continue his development while competing alongside some of the state’s top talent under one of Georgia’s most successful basketball programs.
More importantly, Hudson is embracing the expectations that come with wearing a Wheeler uniform.
His goal is simple.
He wants to help the Wildcats capture a third consecutive GHSA state championship.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to compete at Wheeler and help continue the championship tradition,” Hudson said.
Hudson’s combination of size, skill, and feel for the game makes him one of the most intriguing players in Georgia’s Class of 2029. Comfortable handling the basketball, attacking off the dribble, finishing through contact, and defending multiple positions, he possesses the versatility that continues to separate him from many players his age.
Competing with Jet Academy has also accelerated his development, allowing him to consistently face elite competition from across the Southeast while continuing to expand every aspect of his game.
Wheeler has become one of the nation’s premier basketball programs, annually competing for state championships while producing Division I and professional talent. Hudson now joins a culture built on winning, player development, and high expectations.
Although still early in his high school career, Hudson arrives with the tools and work ethic to make an immediate impact while continuing to develop into one of Georgia’s premier prospects.
